Artist, graphic Designer, Art Teacher in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
EDUCATION
1978–1982 – Alma-Ata Art College named after N.V. Gogol, Graphic Design Department.
1983–1988 – Abai Kazakh Pedagogical Institute, Art and Graphics Department. Qualification: Teacher of Drawing and Fine Arts.
CREATIVE ACTIVITIES
Marlan Kenesovich Nysanbaev has been professionally involved in the visual arts since 1983. His creative work encompasses painting, graphics, and watercolor. Along with his creative work, he has been involved in art education for many years and is actively involved in professional and cultural life.
Marlan is a member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Union of Artists of Georgia. He is an academician of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan (AARK) and serves as Vice President of the Academy. He is also an academician of the World Academy of Arts, France (Paris).
AWARDS AND AWARDS
– Medal “Eren enbegi ushin” for conscientious and outstanding work.
– Gold Medal “Best Artist of the Month” of the World Academy of Arts, France (Mondial-Art).
– Laureate of the Aitmatov Readings Prize “Meeting of Mountains and Steppes.”
– Laureate of the Isatay Isabayev Prize.
– Laureate of the Tokkozha Kozhagulov Prize “Creator.”
EXHIBITION ACTIVITIES AND INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
M.K. Nysanbayev has participated in over 70 international, national, and regional exhibitions.
His work has been featured in major art publications and catalogs, including:
– Volume III of “Fine Arts of Kazakhstan”;
– “Watercolors of Kazakhstan”;
– Art Almanac, London.
The artist’s works were included in Art Almanac, which was distributed to ten major libraries in the UK, including Cambridge and Oxford.
Marlan was also included in the list of 40 significant figures in Eurasia by OSA magazine, London.
PROFESSIONAL AND PUBLIC ACTIVITIES
Marlan Nysanbayev is actively involved in the professional and cultural life of Kazakhstan.
Over the years, he held the following positions and managed professional projects:
– Member of the Secretariat and Board of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
– Project Manager of the “Watercolor Fresh Club” project;
– Project Manager of the “Graphics of Kazakhstan” project;
– Art Manager of the “Apple Palette” professional artists’ association.
His professional activities combine his own artistic work, exhibition activities, art education, and the development of contemporary professional initiatives in the field of fine arts in Kazakhstan.

Marlan works are held in the collections of:
– A. Kasteyev National Museum of Art, Kazakhstan;
– National State Museum of Almaty;
– Taldykorgan Akimat Gallery;
– Karaganda Regional Museum;
– Zhubanov Brothers Museum, Emba;
– Mothers Museum of Almaty Region.
The artist’s works are also held in private collections in:
Kazakhstan, Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain, Bulgaria, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.

Marlan Kenesovich Nysanbayev is a representative of contemporary Kazakh art, whose professional work combines painting, graphics, watercolors, art education, and socio-cultural activities.
The artist’s more than four decades of creative work have included participation in numerous exhibitions, professional and teaching activities, national and international recognition, and his contribution to the development and popularization of Kazakhstan’s fine arts both domestically and internationally.
